Champion Hills Residence Hendersonville, North Carolina
"Make
the house look like it has been added on to..." was an
imperative statement in the design. We chose a combination of
continental styles common to the country sides of Cotswold and
Tuscany and utilized them with variations around the exterior.
The house is centrally located on a large, gently sloping site which
is dramatically entered along an extended driveway. Mid-range
views along one side of the house dictated the arrangement and
fenestration of primary internal and external spaces. The
house was completed with extensive landscaping and site amenities in
1999.
